CRJ entry # 4

While I've been observing Savage Gecko's I have been noticing a lot of things. Of course by now you know that Savage Geeko's is a place where people come to play games and have fun. While I am here of course I cant get involved but I notice there are many ways to have fun. The people here really dont need to bring anything with them because everything they need is provided except a sweater it can get kind of chilly in there. The people of course come here to have a great time and have fun with friends and play games and have tournaments. Others could come here because they dont have the games in which are here and they want to be able to experience the great experience of this fun place. Some could come here to play the games just to see if they want to buy them. But most come here to just have fun. In other words you could do this other places like at home, your friends house, your cousins house anyones house. You could also do this at an arcade for much cheaper but not with such a variety of games. The best way to have fun here is just to let go and play the game man!!!!! Im sure theres much more to it than just playing the game but i have to uncover that story and let that unfold itself.

CRJ entry # 3

While observing Savage Gecko's of course I had to look at the people around me. One person in particular stuck out to me she's kind of heavy set with wild looking hair that doesnt stay in one place. She wears glasses but has browish color eyes she medium brown skin which means she African American. She dresses kind of wierd wearing all black and always having a blue and yellow scarf around her neck. She walk with a two step and wobbles when she walks. She's always playing Guitar Hero and she's really good at it. Another person that kind of stood out to me was the first person you see when you walk in the place, which is the person behind the counter. She didnt really know much about games and I think she just thought this was a cool job to have. I really didnt interact with her but I did know that she has green eyes with reddish hair and the day she was working she had on a white sweater with black pants. I noticed a lot of people like the two boys playing pool. They both had on black t-shirts and blue jeans, one had golden hair and the other had dark hair, they both had browish eyes and they just kind of played pool and did nothing else they made small talk with each other but i really wasnt all in their conversation. There was also one boy who played the playstation who sat in the chair who had on a green jacket with a black shirt with long dark hair and he wore glasses really didnt get a good look at him because I only saw him when i first walked in and then only saw him from the back. He was all into his game sitting in the chair having fun. The other people in the place were really just doing there things playing the games and having fun. I really needed to get more detailed with it and look into more characters that do come here and do play here on a regular basis. Other than those people, the other people werent really noticeable so I didnt really pay attention to the characters like that because they did not get my attention.

CRJ entry 2

During my second visit to Savage Gecko's I really got to observe in full. I walked in and you could see a rack filled with shirts with the Savage Gecko's Logo on them. To the left was a boy playing the playstation, couldn't really make out what game he was playing. I could see three flat screen televisions that were posted on the wall. To the right was the front desk with the clerk standing behind a glass case filled with a lot of games for many different systems. There was also a sign that caught my at tention which had the rates on it. It stated that for 30 minutes you pay $1.50, for 1 hour you pay $3, for 4 hours you pay $9, for all day you pay $18, for 1 month unlimited you pay $74.99, and for 12 months unlimited you pay $445.99. When you walk in a little more I noticed that there was two pool tables in which two guys were playing. Then I looked to the left of them and I noticed computers. Then if you kept walking it was the X-box 360 section. In the room there were mostly rolling chairs and posters on the wall. I also saw bears in a box hanging on the wall (weird). The room was very spacious and had a varity of things to play. In the room there were about 7 televisions in total. Throughout the room were neon lights hanging all over the room. All the way in the back they also had arcade style dance dance resolution and the machine that takes your money to try to get a stuffed animal. The things that they sold were kinda weird to me. They sold beverages(why?), controllers and games. They could also sell snacks but I am not really sure if they do. Savage Geckos is a really cool place to go and I really want to learn more about it. From the looks of it I know that I could get more information and really get to the point with my observations.
